Happy Friday!
Uh-oh! Jim Cantore is in town. Since it’s too early for hurricane season, but I’m going to guess that he’s here for the king tides and flooding on the north end this weekend. He will also be telling stories Saturday night at The Silver Dollar. We’ve got the Surf Dog Experience happening at Carolina Beach Pier—watch some pooches hang 20! Another big event is Mural Fest at the Carolina Beach Lake Park both Saturday and Sunday. Stop by and watch these artists create murals. Sunday night, Kure Beach kicks off their Boogie in the Park concert series with Frank Grant and THE FEELIN’ at Ocean Front Park. Other than the king tides, it looks like another beautiful and exciting weekend on Pleasure Island! Enjoy!
